Just a heads up that I will be out of town and away from email from 1/29/13-2/2/13

If you have any questions or issues, please let me know in class or email me, just be aware that I will most likely not be answering emails before 2/3/12.

This has no effect on Class schedule.

A Note on Text Books

While I do not require you to bring a textbook to class,  I do suggest reading the chapters on the syllabus for the corresponding days. 

How you do that is at your discretion.

It can be through shared textbooks, used textbooks, e-books,  Google Books etc.

I will not test on anything that I do not go over in class and we do not have on a powerpoint or a study guide.

I am using the 12th edition, but the 13th edition is also compatible.

Use whichever is most accessible.

Textbooks for Class

Hello!

Just a note on the class text book.
 I myself am using:
Gardner's Art Through The Ages: Non Western Perspectives 12th edition

However, if you already have the 13th Edition, it is also compatible with the course.

Also, if you want to get it as an E-Book, that is fine.

I do not require books to be brought to class, however, it can be very helpful, especially if you are a visual learner (like myself :) ).
