  1. Regarding the textbook - You said today in class that it was not required to have the book if you study the power points and images diligently. Last week you said we needed to pick it up, so I ordered it from the bookstore but they didn't have any. Its $190 and I can't really afford the book if its not required but the only way for me to get a refund is if you email the book store supervisor Ivy Carr at ivy.carr@ucf.edu telling her that the book is optional and not required. If you would be so kind as to do this, I (and my pocket book!) would greatly appreciate it. If you cannot do this, please just let me know. Thank you - Caitlin Barnebee

    1. I do not require students to bring their books to class. I will not test on something that is not on the study guide.

I advise using the most accessible form of the text, be it e-book, google books (you can find a lot of helpful things there in general), sharing text books, etc.

I do not require everyone to own their own text book, just to read the chapters.

  2. Could you please post the spelling of the name of the screening from last week so I could re-watch it for the midterm? Thanks in advance!

    1. In class, we watched Princess Mononoke. That is the only video that we have screened so far that will be on the midterm.

  3. Just a random question but will you be doing the anime class for the summer? Cause I want to take it if it's available.

    1. I'm glad you asked!

I am not sure yet! The school asked if I was available and I said I was available if they were offering it.

If I find out before class is over, I will let the class know.
